ATO is implementing on 1st July 2018 MYOB Single Touch Payroll system.

Sales reps or other sorts of other labour hire types that require set-up as an employee card in MYOB might cause compliance issues with ATO requirements.

This might cause issues with labour hire employee cards etc. *NONE Employee card file as the details needed, such as Tax File Number, Address, DOB etc, don’t exist.

MYOB Support advised that they’re currently working with the ATO to get Labour Hire excluded from their STP reporting.

Temporary workaround instructions provided by MYOB Support Team:

    Example:
    Employee card name: *NONE

    1. Check/setup the *None employee card’s ‘Employee Basis’ as “Labour Hire” (in the Personal Details section of the card Payroll Details).
This normally marks the card as being exempt from PAYG summary and Payroll compliance.

    2. Fill out all of the required details and in the TFN box, enter 000 000 000
